Two months

So tomorrow is my 2 month mark!!! and im almsot done with my first transfer! crazy!!!

So this week We had a mission tour and got to meet the newest General athority Elder Whiting! That was such a good day!! The takl he gave to us missionaries was so good! He was very blunt and pretty much called us all out and told us we could be doing so much more. Its like there was a spiritual hammer going around just hitting us all in the face.   He is great and it was very much needed that he came.

  This week has been interesting.. my comp has decided to break up with her BF of 5 years so its beena pretty emotional week for her and im doing my best to just comfort her but to also keep the work moving along... she is starting to be ok and its back on track now.

  Last Pday we went to this place called iJump...SO FUN!!! its like that place in Utah with just wall to wall tramps!! Sister keith and i are the only sisters in our zobne so we got picked ona bit my the elders but it was so fun!! doing flips and playing dodge ball! there we some plp you could tell had never really had alot of experiance on a trampoline before haha!

   So this week I had this amazing experiance with promptings. SO on wed we have VC training and after it was done there was this guy in the vc and i keot thingking we should go talk to him but we didnt really think we had the time so we said hi but then just left. But then sister keith and I both felt like we needed to go back and talk to him so we did! Turns out we all needed that talk. He has been working on becomeing active and having us talk to him and tell him our stories and how we came to be missionaries really helped him bu tit also helped us by making us realize somethings that neede to change in our lives with forgivness and stuff like that. He is a Great guy! his name is stetson and is goona continue to come see us and keep up updated on how he is doing.

  Missionary work is just amazing stuff! Your so intune with the spirit and you cant ignore the promptings you get... and if you do you feel like crap  This is a short letter but i dont have alot of time so i love you all! thanks for all your love and prayers i need them andi keep you all in mine as well.

Letter and Pics of the day

This week has been a GOOD one!! we Had to work alot at the visitor center cuz one of the sisters got  surgery so she is gone so we had to pick up some shifts and we worked ALL day on saturday. That was a really long day. But we also had great success! We had $ invesigators come to church yesterday and 3 that want to get baptised! but they bes experience is that one of the girls we are teaching she is 11 and her mom has been less active pretty much her whole adult life but she wants her daughter to be baptized so she asked us to come over and teacher her daughter. While we were teaching we could tell that the mom luara new alot of this and hsd been teaching authumn this her whole life so it was great!! we asked them to come to church with us on suanday and the both came!! The best part was that durring sarament meeting laura started to get really emotional (in a good way) we didnt get a chance to really talk to her about it but we will at our next appointment. I think SHe got scared and was not expecting to feel all that emotion and spirit while at church. She has forgotten what its like to be there... how amazing it is. We just love this family!

  So on friday we had dinner at a members house and they have a farm!! one of the perks of Idaho farm land! (our whole area is farm land) But they took us out and we got to feed cows and hold turkeys! It was so fun!! lol i will include some pictures that were taken. We also found some Kittens this week. Two little ornge ones but then the next morning we were trying to find them a home and took them to our neighboors house and sister keith was not holding on to hers real well and it jumped out and ran away! but then a couple days latter we found out another neighboor had found her and we also gave them the other one we found. but we had a cat for a couple of days and by the end we were so sick of it! lol but whats funny is that the day after we found them we had clean checks and we had to tell them we found cats adn had cats in the house. We passed our clean check but then later found out that we had the cleanest house they had EVER inspected! lol we one the clean checks for our zone and got a free one month supply of TP! lol good thing cuz we were almost out. So not only did we pass and win, but we passed a won WITH CATS!!! lol

   So im slmost at my 2 month mark!! only 15 more to go. Time is going bye so fast! As a VC sister we only serve for 17 months hence the 15 more months. But Its so true time goes bye fast! I cant belive Elisabeth and taila anre already in the MTC!! Missions are so fun! but also so hard! I dont think i really understood how hard a mission really was untill i got out here. Being a VC sister is really hard to and it makes us really mad when ppl or other elders and sisters try telling us that our mission is easy. The way i had it explained to me is that we have double the work but half the time. We still have our own area we cover and are expected to get the same numbers as everyone else but with onlt half the time as all the other missionaries and we also have to learn all the church facts that ppl are gonna ask at the visitor center about temples and the church(good thing i love history and facts). Its really hard to keep track of everything, all 3 of the areas we cover. Plus i didnt know how much paper work went into being a missionary! holy cow! so many reports and such! so its just super frustrating when people think our mission is easy. 

  Well thats all for now! I love being a missionary! Trust in the lord and alow him to mold you in to the person he knows you can become

HOLA WHOEVER READS THIS!!
So last week started off really slow but picked up by the end! My comp woke me up wed morning at 3am witha really bad ear ache and we had to take her in to the urgent care and i was up till 630am so then for the next two days we were pretty much out of commission while she got better so i did alot of cleaning and reading and letter writing those two days we also found out in those two days that she is allergic to zucchini =) so we had to get rid of all the zucchini ppl had given us to the elders =(. But near then end of last week we got alot done! we should be having a few baptisms not this week but next week!! WOOHOO!!! So This tuesday I had the opportunity to go through the temple with a less active we were teaching. It was AMAZING!!! my comp says that Seeing that happens is just as good if not better than a Baptism! His family had been trying the get him to go through for 50 years! So it was great to be a small part of his story! His wife will be going through at the end of the moths so we will get to go to that as well =)

So i dont know if its a mormon thing or an idaho thing or and idaho mormon thing but they serve jello or some sort of jello concoction at EVERY meal! I HATE jello! lol but i just smile and eat through it! haha my comp just smiles and laughs at me every time we go to eat at someones house and they have JELLO! And then yesterday i was getting ready for church and i was wearing my long black maxi skirt and it got stuck under my foot while going up the stairs and when i realized i forgot something down stairs and headed back down i totally fell down the stairs haha! i got some pretty mice rug burn on my foot and shin =) It was not fun lol. So lets see what else... I have decided that HF really wants me to work on my patience because he has given me 2 comps so far who both take forever and a day to get ready! haha for real though i make and made fun of them all the time! I just dont see what takes them SO long! lolAlso i Really wish i could drive! haha scary! that all i have to say about that! haha but its really going good.

Well besides that its been a pretty good week! It is starting to get colder and colder with every day! BOOO but letters make everything better! so write me!!

Letter that explains the dead bird picture

Hey everyone!! this has been an interesting week thats for sure! lots to tell you all. So first off i want to say that my MTC comp is now serving in Mesa AZ at the Mesa Temple Visitor Center! so everyone should go see her there! Tell her you know me! WOO HOO!

Ok so last pday  my comp wanted BK so we go and i just get some chicken strips and we are sitting there eating when this couple comes up to us and gives us both 10 gift card to BK! I was so Shocked! That was the first time something like that had happened to me! I was so excited and Sis Keith just kept laughing at me  cuz i though it was so amazing! I could not believe how nice that was. I was truly shocked and was not expecting that to happen.

    So the next day on tuesday we were scheduled to work at the VC from 3pm to 9pm but earlier that day we had a service project of shoveling dirt and rocks and pulling weeds and just doing some tedious yard work (nothing hard or bad) ... so we get there (the VC) and everything is going good and then around 4 im sitting at the front desk looking at some notes and all the sudden the room starts spinning around me and i just zone out. My comp notices me just kinda falling over in my chair zoned out and asks me whats wrong. Long story short I ended up getting a blessing and got sent home to sleep and was better the next morning but i get really scared cuz i couldnt even really walk without help and i got all clammy and gross. but the amazing part is that for a couple days prior to this i had been praying for ways to exercise my faith and in the blessing i got the elder kept saying that it was trough my faith that i would be healed and feel better. CRAZY!!! I had said nothing to anyone about that and he hit it right on the head. I was quickly brought to my knees asking for help and i guess this was his way of exercising my faith.

    So on thursday I had my first Zone Conference. It was really good! I did find out that there are only 24 sisters in the whole mission! I didnt know there was so few. but anyways It was really good to get to meet and know all the other missionaries! It took ALL day though haha! it started at 9 and we didnt end till 5! We were late to our dinner appointment and had to push everything back but it was all good! So i guess when you go to zone conference your suppose to look and dress more "professional" and an elder pulled sister keith and i aside and told us that we were the only sisters that looked like we took the time to get ready that morning. It was a nice compliment. This elder is also Bi-Polar and was off his meds a the time but that ok! haha

   Ok so Yesterday (sunday) we had to wake up at the Butt crack of dawn to go the all these ward council meetings and we were driving to the second meeting and there are all these birds and one flew in our way and we hit it!! But we couldnt see it after behind us so we were all confused and wondering what happened. We get to our meeting and the bird was stuck in our grill behind our license plate!! SICK!!! we just left it there untill we found someone brave enough to get it our for us! lol i have pics i will send. haha

   So yesterday my surgery foot started to hurt and it actually really hurts right now... im starting to get nervous! so im gonna ask for a blessing and take some meds but i just dont want my worst nightmare to come true so please keep me in your prayers!

   ok y'all... im about out of time! but I love you all and would lov to hear from you! There are alot of people i would like to write but i dont have your address so please write me. I will keep you all in my prayers and untill my next letter take care!
