Hello Everyone!!!

Hello everyone! it has been a pretty eventfull week! let me tell you about it!

 

So this week started off pretty slow and ended pretty slow but thursday and friday we so AWESOME! SO on thursday we were teaching a lesson and this family has a mini farm and one of there goats had baby goats. So at the end of hte lesson they brought them in fo r us to see! holy cow  they are so cute! they most deff smelled like goats  but so stinkin cute. I now  also want a dwarf goat for a pet... add it to my list along with a elk! haha Then later that night we went to the temple. In this mission we can go about once every other transfer and its been about three for me. I was in need of the spiritual upliftment thats for sure.  While we were waiting to go in these two men sat next to me and were talking. and you know  mo sometimes without even trying I hear other peoples conversations  haha. WEll I heard them talking about guam and chuk!(I really hope i spelled that right) I almost flipped on them! asked them why they even know  about them. They server there missions there and we know  alot of the same people! It was so awesome to talk to them about it! they asked me why I was white and lived there for so long! haha it was fun and what a small world. On friday we had Zone conference. It was super weird at first though because president asekd all of sisters well the 3 sets of us to sit on the second row in front of all the elders. haha we felt so segrigated but whatever its what president wanted. But Friday was also so good. Zone conference is always uplifting and you leave it super pumped and ready to go! But not only that its like a mini family reunion! lol you get to see alot of mission family that you dont get to see all the time! but we dont hold it with the whole mission that would be fun though! but super CRAZY! On saturday we woke up to a HUGE snow storm though! in a matter of hours we had a foot of snow. I didnt have to shovel it this time though! haha driving in it was not that fun though! haha I sent a text to out DL and ZL and told them we should protest and stay in! lol It didnt go over very well.

So this week we found out that 58 new missions have been called! holy crap! 2 are in idaho! but  we found out today that they wont affect the pocatello mission! but holy cow  the work is really moving along! They will all start july 1! this is so crazy! I feel almost like apart of history! When ever people find out that sister Rye is 19and im 22 they say oh so you went before it was popular! haha But I hope it does not make her feel bad. But at times thats what I think but these new young missioanries coming out are so ready! and just as good and the older ones htats for sure. yes sometime you can really tell they are just 18 and 19 but they are here to work and are learning fast.

SO today is my 7 month mark! just fyi! lol well we got to go grocery shop! love you all and hope you are well!

Oh man im so TRIED!! I guess that's a good thing though right?

SO lets see where to begin. Lets start with the AWESOME news! haha so on Saturday we had 3 baptisms! oh man that day we were going NON STOP for the whole day! It was so great! There was a father and a son and then Igor a student from the Ukraine that I had talked about before! It always amazing to see people that are willing and ready to make the change and take the plunge! The bad new is That one of our investigators who came to Igors Baptism pulled us aside after and told us he did want to keep meeting with us. We were so shocked! We thad been dropped! I have NEVER been dropped before. We don't know that happened because the spirit was so strong during the baptism and he had to have felt something! maybe he did and it scared him IDK but It was nothing something we saw coming at all. It kinda threw us for a loop and our day took a turn for the worst after that. But today and evertyday after today is a new day and a fresh start to find people who are ready to be taught by the spirit. So funny story! So for Igor Baptism we had promised him warm water but the warm ran out! so we at the end were heating water on the stove and pouring it into the font to warm up the water! haha its was so funny because people started to show up and we were still pouring in in as they sat and watched and laughed! haha but it worked! lol

So it was valentines day this week! haha I had forgotten until a little boy at our dinner apt gave us each a valentine! it was so cute he was 4! the next day sis rye got a package and in it were these suckers with lips! haha I will send a pic so you cen see what Im talking about! so fun!

Hello Everyone!

So lets get this letter started! thos week it started off with last mon packing and saying goodbye for Sister Morales and us enjoying our last few days together! it was very sad to see her go but like I have saud before Mission friends are LIFE LONG friends and we will see each other again. in fact I saw her on saturday at our Baptism! She was able to get permission to come back up for it! haha. On wed was transfers! So We went  a little early because it was an elders Birthday and so we made hima mini cake and smashed it inhis face! haha But then that is where I go tme NEW companion straight from the MTC! he name  is Sister Rye and she is 19! I feel so old! haha but hse is from New mexico so when we introduce ourselves we always get these two responces !. oh your both from warm states you must be dying! and 2. your last names abd both FOOD! haha everytime with out fail. Things are going good with us! She is a alot more reserved and quite than i am. but she is coming out of her shell more and more as the days go bye. WE have had alot of fun tiems together so far and Im sure there are many more to come.  So now that you know We had anohter baptism on saturday.her name is Colbie and she is 19. It was really good. ok so funny story but you probably wont think it that funny! hah abut we were waiting for the fost to fill up fo rthe baptism and I was squating on the floor and decided to stand up and hwen I did I got a HUGE head rush like I do sometimes but hten I blacked out like i do sometimes but THEN I passed out! haha sister Rye didnt know what to do cuz i just feel over and she was not sure if i was jokingor not and when I woke up like 3 sec later on the floor I was totally lost to what was goin on i even asked if i was still on my mission!  haha funny right?! haha Then on sunday we went to 3 different sacrement meeting and taught a mission prep class. so sunday was LONG! but good!

This week was full

Hello!!!

Oh man this week was FULL of things to tell you about!

Lets start with the fact that we are now teaching 2 new students on campus! Teaching students is so fun! But We found out this week that when transfers happen this wed that BYU campus is going to be split so now there will be 2 sets of sisters covering campus. I knew that It was maybe going to happen but I REALLY didn’t want it to happen! I didn’t want to share haha to be honest. But that is something that I have learned on my mission. Whatever you DON’T want to happen is GOING to happen! Haha He will humble you REAL FAST! SO along with BYU being split up Sister Morales is getting transferred down to Idaho Falls in to the VC! It was really good that we were companions because before me she hated the VC and never wanted to even go there let alone serve there. But once I really started to explain what goes on there and why we were called there she really has warmed up to the idea and is excited to go serve there for a little while. So with her leaving I’m sure your all wondering what happening with me right? Well let me tell you!... I’m TRANING!!! So im going senior and training all at the same time! Haha im freaking out because I have only been I nthis area 7 weeks but I will figure it out! I know more than I think I know. Haha To be honest I didn’t want to train and I had been able to avoid it thus far but they finally caught up to me haha. When the call came I ran away from the phone! Haha I was so nervous to find out because EVERYONE has been telling me I was gonna train and I knew it to but but I was trying to convince myself that I want haha no such luck. If the Lord told President that im ready then im ready! Im just gonna trust and do my best. I know no info about the girl im getting and I wont know anything until I pick her up on wed so stay tuned for more information. On Friday after I found out I was training I had to go to a meeting with all the missionaries that were gonna be training. That was fun! Got to see lot of friends I had not seen in a while. Then on Saturday we had a Baptism! Cu got dunked! It was so amazing! I just love this kid. After he came up to us and thanked us for all we had done for him. I was in tears. He is going to do AMAZING things. Then on Sunday when we went to his confirmation he got up right after and bore his testimony! So amazing to see. He is actually going to be doing the baptism of Igor who is going to be baptized in 2 weeks! Haha they are friends and so how awesome is it that Cu will baptize Igor after only being a member for 2 weeks! So cool!! We were also able to go ta a baby blessing of some less actives we are workign with out in our family stake. This baby girl is just super cute! On friday we were to a less actives house neamed lisa and she was having a mary kay party and invited us! so it was super fun! It was funny cuz it was the last thing before we wenthome for the night so we went a got a pretty to go to bed haha but we brought So with us and she really liked it.

That is how my week has gone… its been pretty eventful! This week will be full of more! I will fill you all in next time of what happenes with the new greenie!!

This week

This Week we had Presidents Interviews! They were interesting because there were only 2 companionship's there ours and the district leaders because the visa waiters left! haha it was so small but very personalized which was great! haha then later that night our dinner canceled on us so we went to ying yangs a Chinese restaurant that feeds missionaries for FREE! So as we were eating the AP's walk in! haha so not planned but funny! They can and sat with us and we had dinner together and talked about mission stuff! haha it was funny!  

I cant really thing of what went on this week. ummm...
So on Friday we had a less active we are working with ask us if she could take pics of us with her new camera for her photo class. It was alot of fun! haha I will have pics of that soon I hope. We did have her take pics at the temple and had a nice conversation about the importance of temples. The pics turned out really well too!

So yesterday we meet with Igor our investigator from Ukraine and He asked me to speak at his baptism. He is so awesome. It took us a while to get his to understand and accept cuz he is a very logical person but once we did he has just shot forward. so much so that we have moved his date up a week! Not only that but another investigator that we have getting baptized this Saturday they are friends and Igor asked him to baptism him! so Cu who will have been a member for 2 weeks will baptize Igor! AMAZING!! cu is so excited. Seeing all of this happen really makes all of this worth it.  

This morning we woke up to 8 inches of SNOW!!! are you kidding me! It took us forever to shovel it all off our drive way and the elders came to help us. But then not even 5 min after we were done the owner of the house showed up with a snow blower! we were so mad! haha not cool.

So Thats pretty much it! lol sorry that this week didnt have anything exciting happen =(
