Not sure

not sure what happened this week. lol im drawing a HUGE blank! lol. We did get to see the RS broad cast! thats was pretty awesome! We also spoke in sacrament meeting! I ended up having to fill up like 25 min worth of time! lol good thing i like talking right?! other than that our week was pretty normal. tried to visit people and didnt have a whole lot of success. Did service paining a garage and staining a deck all in the cold! so to make up for this awfully short email i will just send pics! lol pictures speak a thousand words anyways right?!

So what has happened this week? So sis gale and I have made this deal to where if either of u s falls asleep in studies we have to take a spoon full of hot sauce! we both fell asleep on day and had to do it! holy cow we were on fire! lol but its good motivation to stay awake!

SO this week we have started to share a car with the zone leaders! They serve closest to us so they have it during the morning then we switch in the afternoon and we have it at night. they dont want us walking around our area especially at night (not hte safest area haha but still fun). Its still their car but we get to use it! lol its been helping. but i have also been getting in better shape from walking those hills! haha so at night the elders will meet at our place and leave their bikes in our apartment and take the car home and its working out smashingly! Last night when they dropped it off I was asked to wax elder bebees eye brows! lol oh my days it was so funny! got some good pics and videos! We also got our hair cut this week by a Less active Lady in our area!  we got a haircut and also got  a lesson in at the same time!! talk about killing two birds with one stone! haha now the BEST part of the week. I found out that Tom and Deb i couple I knew and worked with in Rexburg have moved into my area here in Pocatello!! He is going to school at ISU and they moved to be closer! They are Totes one of my faves and i was so excited to see them and catch up! We had dinner with them last night and it felt like good times in Rexburg! ALso this week Annie went into the MTC!!!! whoot whoot!! she sent me an email about how sht is having a great time! I was a littel worried that she wouldnt like it. She tol dme that there is a sister in ther district named sister Lemon from AZ! lol I told her she cant get rid of me! an that im gonna ALWAYS be watching! lol Im so excited for her! I also got a wedding announcement from my first trainee sis rye who got sick and got sent home! my daughter is getting married before me!! lol a Little backwards but whatevs!

So we have MASSIVE spiders!!! i about dies this morning! I opened up the area book and there was one just chillin!! i flipped and ran! lol then there was a HUGE black one out side our back door! i HATE spiders!!! HELP!

things are looking up!! we had a pretty good week and are starting to have people to teach and we are starting to have people to see during the day. Its great! on lady her name is liz and she is so great! she works at a sushi place and had us come in one day for lunch! I was really not excited for that but it turned out to be REALLY good! dad and britt you would be so proud of me!!!! i ate it and i enjoyed it! lol im moving up in this world.

ON wed we had exchanges and I left sis gale in our area and went with sis Gooss in her area. It was a good day and I learned alot that im excited to try and put into action in our area.

we were asked to do a musical number this past Sunday. it went ok. we didn have much time to prepare but we asked the elders to help us with it and we were able to pull it together. only problem was they wanted it a capella and none of us had heard the song before so it took us forever to figure out how it was suppose to go! lol but in the end it all worked out!

i also hurt my ankle this week! lol it was long over due i hadn't hurt it in a LONG time! it was in front of the elders so that was a little embarrassing but thats the story of my LIFE!! lol its still a little painful now but i just ice it when i can and elevate it too.

over all it was a pretty good week! i cant complain! the only thing bad is that its starting to get cold!!! im not to happy about that! people keep saying "you havebeen here for a winter you should be use to it!" uhhh yeah right!!! lol oh well.

Another Week

ok so i have a bit more time this week to take more time on my emails!

Let me start with the super funyn story of the week! ok this past week we have been eating again with another set of elders (the Spanish elders). One night at dinner we got on the topic of things evolving. Like how we now have color tv and cell phone and we were just talking about how we remember when we did have some things... lol then sis gale got play station and game boy mixed up and said "remember when they came out with colored playboys!" lol we were all DYING!!!lol she turned so red. I love funny memories like this!

So this week we have had TONS of rain! Idaho is not set up for rain! there were floods and roads got torn apart and it was bad! we got trapped up on the hill where our area is because the roads were closed and no one could drive up and down them. WE got super drenched again wile walking around.

This we we also had zone conference. It was really great and super spiritually uplifting. We were all on this great spiritual high when we got the bad news about one of our fellow missionaries dying in a car accident. WE had all just seen him at the conference. It shook us all up a bit. Im grateful to know about the plan of salvation and know that the  Atonement is REAL! Our hearts and prayers go out the familys of the elder who passed and to the other elder who was involved. We love and miss them both.

We did alot of service this week. First we helped a family paint the inside of there house so that they can sell it. second we helped a family with yard work. and third we helped re shingle a roof for an older couple. Sis gale and I also helped someone we are workign with make apple sauce! it was really fun! But i also for reals alomst chopped my finger off! I about had a heart attack! but all turned out well. she gave us her old juicer and some apples and other thigns and tlak us to go make juice. yeah it did not come out very well! lol it was actually realyl gross! lol it was all really fun though! i Love opportunities to do service!

First week in Pokey....

hello everyone!! so lets talk about pocatello! Pokey is so interesting!!! haha very different from Idaho falls thats for sure! The area which we cover is not very big but it is FULL of HILLS!!! and we have no car!! lol the other day after a day a day of walking the next morning by butt and legs were so sore!!!  I had a bit of a rough start missing IF and the VC and not knowing ANYTHING! We had no area book no maps not records of people to teach.. no nothing!! so i was really frustrated but it has started to work out. The elders who use to cover this area have been taking us around and introducing us to people. We also have been having dinner with the elders all this past week and that has been so fun! on evening we were all walking to dinner and its started to rain like hard core! we were all soaked when we got to dinner! We Had a baptism this saturday as well. One that we were teaching with the elders. her name is Kaila and she is 11.She took a quick liking so us sisters real fast haha. but it was a great time. So funny story of the week.... last night we lay down to go to bed and then we noticed that our next door neighbor was SNORING!!!! We could here him though the WALLS!!! around 1230 I could not take it anymore so we got up and slept on the floor in our living room! Sis Gale was cracking up last night cuz i was FREAKING out! lol My husband better not snore! So about mynew companion! Her name is Sis Gale and she is from Chandler AZ! lol my 3rd comp from az! hah she is so sweet! very shy.she is starting to open up and we get along! lol i feel bad she has to put up with my CRAZINESS!!! I will open her up though!! Things are starting to look up though! i figure though that this will be the same as all the rest of my transfers! I dont want to go but then i end up loving it! haha I'll keep you updated! lol. Well WE dont have much time so I will cut this short but know that I love you!
