So I experienced my first transfer call! holy cow that was super intense! But im staying with sister keith and in our same area so thats nice... but our zone and district pretty much got ripped apart =( thats ok though... getting use to things changing ALL THE TIME! So let me tell you about something that happened last pday! so we as a zone got together for a bbq and to play games. Well the elders wanted to play foot ball so sister keith and i sat and watched... well there was this one elder (who really annoys me) but he decided to go and start tackling people. not cool. One elder got thrown into a fence! We told himt o knock it off but he didnt so the next elder he went to tackle dodged him and then threw him on the grown. The tackling elder didnt like that and then we trying to fight him..long story short game was over. The funny part was that after that all the elders came up to sister keith and i and kept apologizing. super cute. Boys are dumb but the tackling elder deserved it. in my opinion.
i can never remember all that i i want to say when it comes time to email and then i remember during the week! boooo...Oh btw loved the picture book!!!! all the other missionaries are jealous cuz they dont have one haha.
oh so pretty much everyone and their dog knows i have a tattoo! meaning all the missionaries! nothing stays a secret here thats for sure. I have no idea how everyone found out but its ok... as long as the people i teach dont know about it im ok=) So funny thing! last night at the TVC there was a spanish fireside and the elder in charge asekd me to lead the music (bad idea). I looked like a goob standing up there leading music not singing cuz i dont know SPANISH!!! i kept telling him not to do that to me but he would not listen! all the other missionaries just sat and laughed at me the whole time! not cool
OHHHHH!!!! so on yesterday i gave this family a tour of the exhibit we have right now at the TVC and i was talking about the nauvoo (sp?) temple and about how they had to rebuild it and the man that i was talking with helped in carving the limestone for that temple and he said he had some extra pieces of limestone that was used and that we would bring me a piece! super exciting!!! so i will be sending that home to keep safe.
so remember how i said in an email when i was in th MTC about "painting the barn" lesson? ok well they saved it for when we are in the mission field... every week we have a TVC training and the one this week was about apperance and how we present ourselves. CRAZY!! I knew it was coming sooner or later.
ok well words of wisdom i have learned this week...planters are just as important as the harvesters. Its hard working at the TVC beasure most of the time you dont really get to see what becomes of someone you teach but i have learned that planting seeds is important too! Im johnny apple seed! and numbers dont matter... dont be a number/stat junkie! HF works in ways we dont understand as along as im doing the part that he has set asaid for me to do that all that matters.. missions are not made by numbers and success.
Well i love you all! sorry this letter is lame.. i'll start writing down what i want/need to write about =)... oh and WRITE ME!!! loves you all!
