Living the good life

Hello all!!! I hope you all had an AMAZING mothers day! I know I did! getting to talk to my family gave me the boost I needed to continue to push forward. It felt like old times and all of us were just sitting around laughing and having a great time! Time seemed to fly by and before I knew it i was having to say goodbye =( But i know that things will be ok. So after I got done talking with my family we went to the VC so sister Beniato could call her family. (international calls are free for us!) It was so cool to hear her talking in her language! I didnt understand a WORD! haha but she had a god time and and got to visit with other missionaries while she talked.

Ok so this week! On wed We had a interesting but GREAT day! so we were suppose to have Cody's baptism interview but when we all go there he was not home! so The couple we were with took us out for lunch and we had Thai Food! It was pretty good! I have learned that Idaho is just pertty scare on really good Ethnic food so it was good =). Then after they dropped us off at the VC and who was sitting on the couch? well my cousin Jacob was! It took me a min to figure out that I knew him and then how i knew him haha. I have not seen him in almost 3 years so thats understandable. He is so grown up holy cow! haha  but it was really good to visit with him for a few min before I had to go into a meeting. A very nice surprise  and then Later that evening i got a visit from a family I taught in Rexburg! the Perry family! I was so excited to see them and when I saw the little girls they just ran to me and gave me a HUGE hug! wish I had my camera cuz it was a Kodak moment for sure! but i loved visiting with them and taking them around the VC and catching up! I also FINALLY got my guam VC flag! I  was so excited!!! it look awesoem dont you think? lol Whem people ask me know why I where a guam flag i just say "I was raised on guam and my famliy now lives in AZ" its a great conversation starter! lol

So then on Saturday we were on exchanges! so i went to Ammon foot hills where all the millionaires live and holy cow there houses are HUGE!!! there was one family that had a basketball court in their basement, a helicopter  14 very nice cars and who knows what else! In the morning we did some service for the ward activity and then there was a big BBQ after and the grill they brought was HUGE!!! it had to be towed behind the owners truck! haha but it was alot of fun and the food was GREAT!  I also had my firt experience door knocking! just going door to door! and one non member family let us in! lol it was so exciting to just knock and teach! We did alot of service this week and because of it im starting to get my tan back! lol of course is a missionary farmers tan but its better than nothing! Its starting to be in the high 70's and 80 and you should here the people here saying how hot it is! lol and i just laugh and enjoy it! lol

This week I also found out that 2 of the people I taught at BYU are getting baptized ! I was so happy to find that out! Whats even better is I get to go! yay!!!

Well All I love you all and hope you had and have a great week!

So I will let you all know that i made a list of things that I want to tell you about so I will do it in bullet points like i have them on my sticky note! lol

I 'll start with funny first!

* So on pday we played soft ball as a zone (dad your right I totally should have played in HS.. sorry for being a bum cuz i totally dominated!) Well it was the other teams turn to bat and i was pitching. One elder named elder Rabe got up and I pitched it to him and when he hit it it came right back at me!!!I only had enough time to turn around before it hit me! Right on the butt/thigh... It was so funny and painful at the same time! i just layed there for a few seconds lol poor kid felt so bad. It was pretty funny! I also have a pretty sick bruise from it too! lol he gets alot of joke now.
*On tuesday after District meeting we moved to our new place (in with members). We get back to start and when the housing coordinator get there he told us that instead of just taking your stuff and leaving the rest we now had to pack up everything! He had before told us just to pack our things but then things changed  i guess. The poor elder that were helping us. The coordinator would not let sis beniato and i help carry things and kept telling us the elders could do it (I told him my parents would not be happy if they found out I was not helping with the lifting when i could and he didnt care) but we eventually got it all done after about 2 hours. The memebrs we live with are pretty great and help us out alot!
*So this week we had the opportunity to go to the temple 3 days in a row! On thursday we had a sister temple trip where all the sister in the mission got together and did a session! so awesome!! That was our mission presidents wife's mothers day wish. Then we got to go again on friday to a session cuz there is a lady sister Beniato worked with in Ammon who was going though for the fist time so we go to go for that. then on sat we go to go to that same ladies sealing to her deceased husband. It was beautiful and i miss being able to go to the temple whenever i want. Im so grateful for the blessing of having a temple so close back home and i wont abuse it again!
*Cody got baptized!!! we had to get special permission to go because he desiced to have it in St. Anthony which is 45 min away but because he is in our area and we are working with him president Brinkerhoff let us go! woohoo! It was beautiful to see because he needed help in the water so there were 4 people total in the font to help him. I just love cody and he will do great things! He asked us to sing at his baptism so  we sang and it was actually not to bad! lol
*Sautrday i was at the VC and i got a call from Annie the girl i worked with in Rexburg who decided to go on a mission, well she got her call!! She is going to Carlsbad Californa! I about cried! She is going to make an AMAZING missionary and im so grateful for the opportunity to teach and help her. She Reports to the MTC sep 11 and we will be writing each other untill she gets home! such a tnder mercy.
*Yesterday (sunday) I got a call from the VC telling me i had visitors from GUAM!!! I get there and ins Ame and Eku!! yeah i started crying! I told everyone my Family was here and it took them a min to understand what i was talking about cuz im white and they are not lol. but I loved seeing them and catching up. It was another tender mercy and what i needed! LOVE you guys!

Well thats my week! Always remember that if we are not sharing our testimony we are losing it! so SHARE IT!!! love you all!!
