this past week has been so good but so bad all at the same
time! haha both my comps were sick from thursday to now! but they are on the
mend now so its ok. Because they were sick we did alot of staying in and not
going out as much until they got better but when we went to do
numbers last night we had hit most of our goals! haha its was a miracle thats
for sure! We got alot done this week for feeling like we did nothing.
I want to share what happened yesterday though cuz it was so
AMAZING!
we are teaching this kid named Cu from Vietnam and
we meet with him after he got out of church yesterday on campus. We were
teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ so Faith, Repentance,
Baptism, The Gift of the Holy Ghost and ETTE. When we got to talking about
baptism he just went off asking all sorts of questions and wanting to know why
people who when they die and go through the veil and remember everything
why they still wouldn't accept the gospel. Right then we knew he was
ready. So we asked him to be baptized and he just go the biggest
smile on his face! He sat there for a min and then
started patting his chest where his heart is and said the
his heart is beating so fast. We asked him how he was feeling and he
said there was no negative feeling and that he knew he needed and wanted to
be baptized! it was so great! WE then asked him why he thought he was
having those feelings, He then said that a month ago he would have said that it
was just his brain reacting to a thought but that now he KNOWS that its the
Holy Ghost talking to him. It was such an amazing experience to see
this first hand! Man we left that appointment dancing! so AMAZING!!!
SO as you can tell its been a slow but very effective week!
Its great though because school has stared so all the students have come back!
can I just say I have NEVER been so popular in my LIFE!!! haha we
will be on campus on even just around town and we will hear "Sister
Missionaries!!!" Everyone wants to talk to us, work with us,
feed us... its great! They are making our job of finding and things like that
SUPER easy! We just get the phone call and then go teach and baptize! haha
but life is going great! I love you all! Love, Peace, and Chicken grease!
