COLD

oh my heck its so cold!!! yesterday it got down it -14 degrees! I had booger sickles the sec I walked out side! But i have come to learn that after like 10 degrees your body cant really tell the difference and it just goes frozen and numb. But I literally screamed when I saw the it was 14 below. People will always hear that im form AZ anda ask the same question... "so how you liking this Weather?" If the 50 layers and chattering teeth dont say it all. Silly Idaho People. i hacve also started driving.. IDk if i have said this yet but its a pretty big deal when your allowed to start driving. at least it is to me haha but its great!
This week... Holy cow! Alot has happened and Some of it I cant even tell you cuz its against the rules! Boooo... Thats ok it wil make for some awesome after mission stories!

So with the spanish elders in our zone we have started teaching english classes. Lik just the basics to help them communicate. We have 3 levels and I teach in Level 3 the more advanced class. ummmm why am I even teaching! I have learned that Ican barely speak English myself! haha Teaching it is so hard and English is just a hard language in and of its self! The best teacher out of all of us in E. Gatchalian from the Philippines who is learning English himself! haha its pretty funny! But im getting the hang of it and im learning with them haha!

Last monday for zone activity we did a Mexican tradition Rosca bread thing! when you cut in to in and take a pice and if you get a baby Jesus in your piece you have to make tamales and hot chocolate on feb 2. I was lucky enough to NOT get one! haha IDK how to make Tamales.  but it was fun.

So lets take a min to talk about the work thats going on. As of last night we have 5 baptism dates! AHHHHH!!! the work is moving along thats for sure!!! Teaching in a trio is so awesome! and we work really well together! 2 of the dates are for out in our family stake. Its a father and son and they are great! just ready to start fresh and new. they just moved out here and really need this change. the rest are on BYUI. Cu from Vietnam he is 18 and his sister got baptised a few years ago and she has been working with him since then. he is just teh quirkiest person ever and is super fun to teach. Igor he is 21 he is the one we committed last night and he is form the Ukraine. He is a tough on to work with. He Has alot of Deep doctrine questions and will veer off from the teaching lesson on to random tangents and we really have to work at keeping him focused haha but we finally got him to pay attention and now he is ready to take the plunge. The last one in So the Girl form Korea I told you about. her date is a Little hesitant but we are really gonna try and help her be ready. She just needs to really put her faith and trust in the Lord and Let him do his thing. We just love all the people we are working with and are so excited for each and everyone of them! last night was So's Birthday and so we went ot her house to celebrate and take pics... she is now 19!! woo hoo!!!

Yesterday (sunday) was CRAZY!!! we went to 3 sacrament meetings (all on campus) and 3 sunday schools! Im pretty sure each one sang the same songs. iwas so tired of singing by the last one haha. and one had REALLY dry and stale sacrament bread! haha But we went with investigators and it was really good to go with them and sit in class with them. (to go to BYUI they have to go to church. does not have to be LDS but they go to LDS because its convenient haha.) wE then also watch the CES fireside. i hope you all watched it! it was so good1 i just  love Uchtdorf. he is the MAN! and them after we went to SO's bday thing and then went to teach Igor!! Yeah Yeah Yeah!

So funny story! last night i was saying how I just wanted to sleep in and blah blah blah. This morning at 6:34 (4 min past our wake up time) we get a text message that wakes us up asking if our power was out too. (it was the DL) and it was!!! haha there was nothing we could do because it was still pitch black out side and so it was pitch black in the house we asked the DL what to do and they said tender mercy go back to bed!! haha power didnt come on till 9:30. we got up around 8:50. When we  got up holy crap it was so cold in the house! now power mean no heat! it was almost 40 degrees in the house by the time the power came on! We were all bundled up in blankets and 50 layers of clothes! But it was nice to sleep in for once haha.

Things are going great! I hope all is well with everyone and stay awesome!  also read Alma 29:9... Scripture I read this week and loved!

Love Me!
