Service Week

why hello!!!! How is everyone doing on this fine monday morning?! This week was a pretty normal week but we did have a few opportunities to do service that were really fun! the fist one we helped the ZL do yard work for some random people and I blew the elders minds by showing them i know how to mow a lawn and weed eat. haha who would have thought that a girl would know how to do that? lol silly elders. then later that day us and alot of our elders came to our area and help a new non member family move in. It was really fun and we got to know them really well and we are hopping that we were able to warm them up to meeting with us. They are such a great family though! very musical and we would love to get to know them more and teach them. then on Friday we did service at the green belt. Idaho Falls puts on this youth jam every year and they have music performers, dancing performers, arts and crafts etc. and its a 3 day event. so we sent early one morning and helped pick up trash before it started and then we were all assigned to a booth to help out at. Sister Rod and I to the Spin art booth and got to help kids with that. It was supper fun! behind us there was a hula hooping area and we went and had a contest with elder Bebee haha we won. Then right as it was getting time to leave we got a random phone call and I almost didnt answer it cuz it was from a restricted number and we are not suppose to answer them if they are restricted but something told me to just answer it so i did. Turned out to be my aunt fay and uncle Denny!! they were at the temple and wanted to see me and take us out to lunch. So we ran over and they took us to wendys. it was really nice to see them!

As for people we are teaching this week was a Little slow but the lessons we did have were GREAT and very spiritual. I have learned on my mission that you cant always have great weeks. haha but it was not from a lack of effort on our part. We are still making progress and thats what matters.
