Family!
ok so here is the real email again. i just got back from the temple and we did a session and it was really good, i havent done one in a while so it was really nice to do it with my distict. speaking of district this is the last week for our elders they leave next monday and us sisters are pretty sad about it =( but its ok we know we will all see each other again (we have all gotten really close). but us sisters stay another week for VC training! woohoo! we heard that they are gonna give us a lesson on looking presentable and making sure our makeup is done well haha... they call it painting the barn! lol saying that you dont have to paint a barn but it look SOOOO much better when it is painted! lol i still dont know what to think about that? and why do they not give that lesson to ALL the sisters?
So this week has beena crazy one! we have a elder really struggling and is not here for the right reasons. we are all prying for him and want to help but we dont know whatelse to do. he has met with the branch presidency but nothing really seems to help but he says he wont go home unless they send him home. he does nothing but drive the pririt away and its frustrating you know?
so yesterday we got to watch a movie! lol it was the legacy but still! lol we loved it! lol its was funny cuz when they turned out the lights we all were like making fun of the sittuation. but yesterday was fastsunday and we starved for 24 hours! dinner was at 5 and around 2 we were all dead! lol all we could think about was food and not the reason we were fasting. when it came time to eal the elders had like 5 plates of food each! lol so funny to watch1 and then we were all in a food coma after.
Can i say i dont like it when elders are my age cuz then i start to look at how attractive they are! lol when i know they are 19 im fine cuz i just look at them as little boys but i have meet alot of elders that are around my age or older and it doesnt help that they are super attractive and POLY! i was dying! but i have my goal in sight and wont let any cute man slow me down just eye candy you know? lol
So can you send me more pics please? everyone here has tons of pics of there fams and stuff and i want more. lol and maybe the pic book we got for christmas at some point? What pic did you end up using in my mission thing for the church? can you send me some of those pics too? Thanks for sending my shoes so fast! i love you guys for doing that! i got them on tues and used them to work out and the next morining we has service and i was glad i didnt have to do that in my mission shoes (my feet are doing better by the way. ankle still has issues some times though) So are my emails and letters as funny as Britts? lol im trying to be funny through letters and email and i dont know if im acomplishing my goal. =)
So let me tell you about a great experience i had this week. My comp and i were having a really hard time with an investigator and were totally at a lose of what to do. we were praying and studying so hard to know hwat to do and nothing was coming so we were so frustrated and i guess it showed cuz our teacher had us stay after class to ask what was wrong and i we broke down to him and how were not sure if we are gonna be good missionaries cuz we were trying SOOO hard but nothing was coming and he shoed us this scripture moses 6:31-32. as i sat there and read that out loud for all three of us to hear i could feel the saviors love for us and we were all crying even the teacher. he told us that god knows how hard we are trying and that we are doing the best he can and is so proud of us and he will make up the rest. this is now one of the scriptures i read everyday to help remind me that im not doing this alone and he will make up for what we cant do just aslong as we give it our all.
I love you guys and all that you do for me. i miss you so much but not enough to let it disstract me. i know you will be there when i get home. Im all out of time but i will send you a letter while doing my laundry! i keep you in my prayers always
