One Month

So idk if anybody noticed but I hit my one month mark on sat!! oh yeah!! haha so i have been out in Idaho almost a week and i cant believe all that has happened already! so i will start from the beginning...
Bekka with President & Sister Brinkerhoff

So when we flew to Idaho (30min flight...so dumb) we land and meet our mission pres and his wife and then the whole day was just getting to know them and lessons about the mission and things like that. Did do a whole lot... didn't even  leave the mission home. But the next day that where it all started. We went to meet our companions at transfers and that's where i met Sis Keith. She is From Peoria AZ and she is great! That fist night i had my first shift at the VC! Sis Keith most deff pushes me and that good but scary! The only way im gonna learn fast is if i get shoved out of my comfort zone. The next day we had no VC  but we had weekly planning and that took forever and a day! but that night i had my first real teaching experience. It went really well! sis keith was surprised with how much i was willing to talk just being fresh out of the MTC and she was happy! So since then we have worked every night at the vc and dont have a lot of time during the day to tract cuz we have alot of study time with me being a new missionary but we have had a few referrals we went to see and that went pretty good! the house was Disgusting  though! We didnt even sit down cuz it was that bad.... but we couldnt stay long cuz we had to run to the VC. So the VC.... let me tell you... not as easy as you or i thought! So many fact and History i have to remember and then all the movies i have to watch and know about so i can explain them. and then learning about the temple facts so i can give tour walk around the temple! and doing the online chat and calling referrals and oh my gosh! Its like taking what a missionary does and then adding onto it SO much! The Mission expects us to have just as much success as reg missionaries do with less then half the time. Its super over whelming and i have had quite a few moments of not knowing if i could do this the way thats needed. But Sis Keith is a great help and very supportive and lets me know that its all gonna be ok and that after a few weeks i will really get the hang of all this stuff. I have broken down a few times but thats also just who i am haha. i was having a really hard night like two nights ago and i was writing in my journal about how i was wondering if i would ever be a good enough missionary to even be a senior comp let alone a trainer cuz i feel lost like ALL the time and blah blah blah. Sis keith really helped telling me not to worry about it now cuz i have only been out 5 days and that it will get easier and that she has no doubt i will be all of those things... I just want to be the best i can be you know? One thing im really having a hard time with right now is having faith in the lord. I just need to let myself go but im having a hard time cuz i dont like asking for help or feeling weak. Its something that i realize i need to work and im trying to practice what i teach. You cant convert past your own conversion. So true...  I can feel my own testimony growing everyday while being out here... thats part of what a mission is for though i think.

So can i just say that Idaho is cold!!! At night here im already freezing! everyone just laughs at me and they keep reminding me of how im gonna die when the winter comes. i am fully aware of that fact! lol Im not looking forward to the winter at all!  So Idaho also makes me feel really country! lol our area is pretty much all farm area so its a good thing we have a car! oh and its the newest car in the mission! we also have the nicest house in the mission too! and im still loosing weight! life is pretty nice out here mission wise haha but i dont want to jinx myself so im gonna stop. but hey i g2g but i will try and give more details next time i write! I love you all and keep the mail coming! my new address is
